Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,

On behalf of the Strategic Planning Committee, I am writing to inform you that at December meetings of the Faculty, Staff Forum and Collegiate, members of the Strategic Planning Committee will present the Wells College Strategic Plan: Foundations for the Future. This document has been posted on the Wells College Website at http://www.wells.edu/whatsnew/publications.htm#strategicplan. All members of the community have had an opportunity to participate in formulating the plan, and we ask that you participate in meetings of your group and endorse the plan before the Committee sends it to the Board of Trustees for action and possible approval during the winter meeting in early February.

The plan, which appears, on the web is very similar to drafts you have already seen. There is, however, an additional section at the end, which provides for assessment and reporting of ongoing progress. Should you wish to review a hard copy of the draft, with potential costs included once more before your group meets, one copy will be available in my outer office, Macmillan 224, one on reserve in the Wells College Library and one in Building and Grounds.
