College Republicans Meeting February 8, 2007

Members: Terri, Cathy, Jen, Adam, Tiff, Jess

We have $67.44 in our account; budget for this semester is due Wednesday.

Movie nights:
They will be Mondays at 9.
Ideas: All the President’s Men, the Reagans, Dick, National Treasure, First Ladies Documentary, Man of the Year
This month we will show National Treasure (if we can’t get it we’ll show the First Ladies Documentary).

Mark Finkelstein wants to come to a meeting and talk to us about the presidential candidates; interested?
Yes, but not for whole campus (he’s very conservative and doesn’t mind insulting democrats).
He also wants us to go do a panel on his TV show RightAngle; interest?
No.

Bulletin Board: needs to be redone!!
We’ll meet Sunday at 1:00 to fix it up.

Trip for the semester:
Seneca Falls after spring break.
Terri had some ideas; there is a park where the women’s convention was held, we can tour Elizabeth Cady Stanton’s house, she knows some good restaurants as well.
What does everyone else want to do???

Also, bring your calendars so we can pick a date!

CPAC group needs to meet at lunch or dinner to decide what they want to do!

Symposium: we aren’t going to do anything; half of the club will be gone, and the rest of us don’t want to try to run it.
