Christina Gothard '07: Co-Chair, cgothard@wells.edu

She is an art history major living in Glen Park. She was born in a small Illinois town but since then has lived in Nevada and New York. As a child, Christina found fun in everything, be it her dolls or video games (particularly racing or fighting games). Her favorite colors are blue and green (however, she is not an Even). If you ever want to take her out to dinner, she enjoys cultural food, but best of all chicken fingers with BBQ sauce. If you ask her who her favorite President was, she could not say. But she likes Pres. Coolidge just because he use to live just down road from her camp and use to fish off her pond (this of course happened before her family bought the camp). Her favorite First Ladies are Laura Bush, Jackie Kennedy, Frances Cleveland, and Eleanor Roosevelt. If suddenly bequeathed with a million dollars, Christina would run off to buy lots of anime, then pay off all her debts. From a beautiful home with a sweet cat and sour milk, no other club co-chair would dare take on the wonderful and powerful Christina. To quote: "I am the year of the rat when I should be the year of the cow, but no the Chinese new year has to be two days after my birthday"

She lives in Glen Park which is the best dorm on campus. She is an English Major and a Sociology Minor. Her favorite color is blue. She has a lot of food that she is very fond of such as brownies, her mom's tuna, and the best meal would be a cheeseburger and fries. She is a movie buff, a book worm, and a pop culture junkie, she is also very passionate about politics, but she is not always that good at keeping up with what is going on in the world or at least not in the political realm. She likes to hang out with her friends and be deviant, make fun of people, and just be goof- offs. Her favorite president is Abe Lincoln and Reagan was cool to an extent. She hates the Clintons, and Jimmy Carter, horrible Presidents. First Ladies that she likes are Laura Bush, Nancy Reagan, Barbara Bush, Jackie Kennedy, Eleanor Roosevelt and Betty Ford. She is also a die hard Condi Rice fan and she hates the existence of Hillary Clinton. She would marry and procreate gladly with Matthew McConaughey, Paul Bettany and James Dean. She worships the lovely Kate's: Kate Hudson and Kate Winslet; and she is also a big fan of Jennifer Aniston, Julia Stiles and Scarlet Johansson. She is also the biggest Marilyn Monroe fan ever. Her top 5 list for movies are as follows in no particular order: Fight Club, American History x, Annie Hall, The Godfather Part II, & The Birdcage; and In reference to Fight club: Any living celebrity that She would fight would be Ellen Degeneres, dead celeb: Gandhi, President: Bill Clinton, and First Lady: Jackie Kennedy. Her favorite quote is from Gandhi, who says, "Where there is love, there is life." She completely thinks that this is true depending on how you look at love and how that correlates with your life.

Adam Van Glad '10: Treasurer, avanglad@wells.edu

Adam Van Glad will be majoring in either a history or an anthropology . He lives in Gilboa, New York. His mission in life is to live the way he wants to. However, Adam looks at Terri Rafferty as his role model and hopes to be her someday. He decided to join the College Republicans because he is a republican. His favorite color is blue. The wildest dream he has ever had…“Trust me you don’t want to know.” If he ever wanted to date someone he would “if it feels right at the time, sometimes it takes a while to feel right.” Adam’s life is so busy that he does not have time for hobbies, however, he would make time for eating his favorite food, cheesecake. His favorite president is Teddy Roosevelt. Adam would like to end with his favorite quote, “It all works out in the end.”

Jessica is also known as Sir Galahad, the Pure. She is on a quest from Johnson City, New York to get people to vote! During her spare time, she is majoring in Biology, and she doesn’t know if she wants to minor in anything as of yet. Her favorite color is purple but she bleeds blue and green. When it comes to deciding on what food she wants to eat, she has to see what mood she is in, otherwise she is in love with tortellini. If is she had to choose her favorite President of the United States, it would be Reagan. Her favorite First Lady is Dolly Madison. If she could, she would marry Colin Firth in a heartbeat; and they would have lots of little children running around the yard. When she is away from the dream family, you can find her reading or sewing in her room in Main. Quotes: “It's all good!” and “Always look on the bright side of life.”
