practice and research. Topics include map design, visualization, querying,
editing, on-screen digitizing, georeferencing, data models, GIS data
structures, data classification and sources, spatial analysis, manipulating
census data, NeoGeography, GIS ethical and social criticism. Hands-on exercises
using ArcGIS9.2.

combining the architectural design process and geographic information systems
