Stampeding Horses

While living in Aurora, Henry Wells built a stable a short distance from his house (Glen Park Mansion). Unfortunately, there was a fire, and many of the horses perished, including Wells' favorite. The night air was filled with the sounds of terrified horses attempting to run from the flames. Today, Leach Hall stands on the same spot as the stable. Residents of this dorm claim to hear horses stampeding throughout the building at night.
