A writing-intensive course. Six papers of 3-4 pp. (word-processed or typewritten, doublespaced), due at the beginning of the weeks marked "*." Frequent individual discussions of writing, including planning, drafts, and rewrites. Grades based 50% on writing, 50% on class discussion.
