Grading Criteria for the QRI

 

____You MUST hand in a tape of the testing session(s).  If you do not hand it in, the highest

grade you can receive is a C.

Information accurately noted/scored correctly/has all three levels - correct text level is chosen

based on results from the word recognition assessment

 

____Concept Questions (8)

          Scored correctly

 

____Prediction (2)

          Scored correctly

 

____Running Record of Text (8)

          Text marked accurately

 

____Miscue Analysis Sheet (8)

          Correctly analyzed/correctly scored

 

____Reading Rate (4)

          Correctly calculated

 

____Retelling (4)

          Correctly calculated

 

____Comprehension Questions (8)

          Accurately noted/Correctly scored

 

____Student Profile Sheet (8)

          Complete/Accurate

 

____Summary Report (45)

                     

            ______ Background Information (5) - includes information about the child, the testing situation

and the student's behavior during testing.

 

______Word Identification Information (10) - Information from student profile and

testing situation included - All 4 Word Identification questions are answered

 

______Comprehension (10) - Information from student profile, comparison and

testing situation included - All 6 Comprehension questions are answered

 

            ______Summary and Recommendations (20) - How can the student improve?

What can the child do?  What can the teacher do?  What can the parents do?  

What specific strategies and methods will help this student?
