Math 151, Fall 2002      Helpers  Updated Oct 2

The Math Clinic (Math Library, Mac 120) is staffed regularly with people who can help with general math questions.  Several of them also have statistics knowledge.  Watch this space for their hours. They're posted outside Mac 120 also.
Current as of Sept 11:

Amanda Pingitore is our special TA.  She'll be reading HW, and will be up-to-date on our SPSS.
Her hours:  MW 10:30-11:30 am, 1-3 pm.  Th 9:30-11am.  apingitore@wells.edu, x2869, Main 224.

Assistants who know Statistics. (They also know SPSS, though they have worked only with the non-Interactive graphs)
  Karen McKeen: 8:30-11 am T Th, 8-30-9:30 am M, 1:30-3:30 F
 Jessica Swanson: 9-11:30 and 4:30-5:30 M, 1:30-3 T& 3-4:30 T, 9:30-11 W, 9-11:30 F,
Assistants who can help with general math.
 Michelle Richards: 1:30-3:30 W Th, 12-2 Sat
 Dawn Brown: 1:30-3 M, 2:30-5:30 T, 6-8pm Th

The Computer Lab Assistants (CLA's) can help with general balky-computer questions, though they don't know the Activstats package.  Some may know SPSS.

Caution--some Wells people who have used SPSS have used the non-Interactive graphs.  They were developed by SPSS first, and by a different "committee", and work a little differently.  People who took Math 151 last semester used Interactive graphs. Trying to switch back and forth may be confusing to you at first.  Check your helper, or bring graph questions to me, or to Amanda.
