Measurable Outcomes
??
Means of Assessment
  1. MPS faculty attend MPS 402 proposal presentations and review papers, providing input for the student grade and faculty comments.

  2. MPS faculty attend MPS 403 Science Colloquium presentations and review final papers, providing input for the student grade on comprehensive evaluation and recommendations for distinction.

  3. MPS faculty meet before spring registration to evaluate the progress of each declared major towards meeting the individual goals. The following checklist lists issues we will address. Minutes of these meetings will note patterns of individual progress and remaining needs as well as potential changes in departmental policy or procedures that will support meeting our goals. Personal information will remain at the department level.

Assessment Checklist
