Professor Reis suggested Susanís last slide also employ percentages in anticipation of the question from the floor of the faculty.
Meghan McCune shared that she would repeat her presentation from the Open Meeting and also provide information about her next steps in this process. Second semester she will conduct a student survey to include all upper class students as respondents. This instrument will ask how studentsí rate the whole admission process. (most effective, etc.)
A lively discussion ensued concerning admission tours; the pros and cons.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:12 pm.
Next AFA meeting is Thursday, Nov. 14 @ 12:30 pm in Macmillan 317. It was suggested at the Oct. 31st meeting that we look at the Faculty Manualís charge of the AFA committee as one of the agenda items.
